Dr Nancy Lefeber Hughes is the second generation of Lefeber family physicians providing care for the Galveston community. Edward James Lefeber began providing medical care for the citizens of Galveston in 1939. Her brother also practices medicine and is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Welcome to Arte of the Booke, which features the medieval and fantastical work of book artist Nancy Hulan. Nancy draws on the techniques of the medieval scribe and bookbinder to create modern works of art that incorporate historical calligraphy, map making, and fine leather binding. These range from fantastical monster journals, each one a unique piece of art, to historical reproductions, and everything in between.
